Aeolian 88 Note Pianola 30465 Back
A delightful little instrument which was repolished twenty years ago in a satin matt finish. The instrument was made in the UK sometime in the late 1920s and has a seven-octave keyboard and the keys have been recovered with one piece plastic and the instrument now looks very smart. The instrument plays standard eighty-eight rolls and has the benefit of also being able to play the rolls on an eclectic suction unit so you do not need to pedal however you can still have the fun of peddling the rolls on the Player peddles.

The only downside is that the roll motor will require a full overhaul as it is quite hard to peddle and the cloth is stiff, making it hard to peddle at the moment. The instrument could also do with being tuned and servicing carried out on the player action, including a few of the rubber tubes needing replacement.

We also understand from the client that there are around twenty to twenty-five Pianola rolls which will be included in the sale.

The instrument has great potential and would look very nice in any home being small and very compact, however, the instrument is sold as is without guarantee as it will need work to be carried out before it is back in good playing condition.

The instrument is offered without an asking price, and all sensible offers will be considered but the offer must be fair considering the amount of money spent over the last twenty years. The final agreed price will not include delivery, and the purchaser must make their own arrangements for collection of all items.
