A once in a life time opportunity to purchase one of the smallest Pianola's ever made which plays from an 88 note Pianola roll. This instrument is thought to be a proto type as no other instrument of this kind have been seen by the trade so it could well be a one off but we cannot confirm this as the company has since stopped trading. We've enjoyed having our compact pianola in our family room for over 20 years, as our daughter practiced for her piano exams on it and it provided a lot of fun and entertainment during family& friends gatherings. The instrument is made by Monington and Weston of London in late 1964 and is fitted with a Kimble USA made player action fitted by Monington and Weston. The instrument is the famous design with a double iron frame making it very heavy. The instrument is traditional in every other way and the Player folds away and the instrument looks like a standard Piano. The Pianola works with an electric pump only and cannot be pedalled so all you do is put the pianola roll in and switch it on. It stops and starts automatically and you can change the tempo and volume from the small control panel on the left of the keyboard. It is a great deal of fun. The new owner may need to have the instrument tuned and the player serviced after delivery. The instrument comes with all the rolls as listed and a duet piano stool.
